CRITERIA:

South African born and bred musicians, whether still residing within the boarders of the Republic of South Africa or at present residing in another country​

 

Original work / musical composition is of the essence and not negotiable​

All artists must be the legal owner/s of the musical compositions entered​

 

No musical composition, where AI (artificial intelligence) forms the core of

the content, will be favorably considered as an entry​

 

Only musical composition with either one of the eleven (11) recognized languages, of the Republic of South Africa, may be entered for consideration.

METHODOLOGY:

A weekly RSA hit parade will be done weekly on www.radiosuidafrika.co.za

 

Weekly on Wednesday nights 20:00 – 22:00 CAT

 

Listeners can vote online on www.radiosuidafrika.co.za  from  Wednesdays 22:00 CAT until Sunday nights at 23:59 CAT

A rebroadcast will be aired Subdays from 21:00 CAT

 

Polls will be closed on Mondays and re-open at 23:00 CAT

 

Online voting close at midnight every Sunday for the results to be processed and published online on all the relevant social media platforms

All entries, as weekly  on the top 23 list, will be on the auto playlist on Radio South Africa and will also be available as a REQUEST PLAY on www.radiosuidafrika.co.za

All information on the RSA Hit Parade will be weekly promoted on all social media platforms by all the collaborative partners

​

RULES:

​

All entries will be evaluated by appointed panelists to ensure conformity to standards and rules    

​

A majority vote by panelists will ensure the success of a submission

​

All new entries will enter onto the TOP  20 in the 21-23 bracket and replace songs not featured in the previous top 20 songs for a consecutive week

​​

The songs replaced will not be entered for a second time within 60 days from the time it lost its position from  the top 30 entries

​

Any hat trick (3 consecutive weeks in No 1 position) will be slotted into the 24th slot

for 3 weeks and automatically be re-entered if the artist is in agreement. Alternatively a new song can be entered.
